THE LIVING CHRIST
The Apostle Dr. Miguel Angelo da Silva Ferreira endeavors, through the preaching and defense of his theses, to promote a PRO-REFORM in Protestantism. He considers that the Protestant Reformation, started by Martin Luther, is not consummated. It absorved over the years, doctrinal, theological and pastoral principles that have stagnated the institutionalized church, placing on shoulders of the believers, the burden of rites, duties, ablutions, prohibitions, sacrifices and other Jewish and legalistic obligations. As Propagator of the Grace of God, based on the Holy Bible, especially the fourteen Epistles of the Apostle Paul, Miguel Angelo proposes the release from the yoke of the law, for a life guided by knowledge and the revelation of the Word of God, confirmed by the manifestation of the Holy Spirit, in the Church, which is the visible sign, of God, the Creator, among men.
DEFENDED THESES BY APOSTLE MIGUEL ANGELO
1. THE PRE-EXISTENCE OF THE SPIRIT OF THE ELECTED AND CHOSEN The spirit inhabiting, in each one, of the elected and chosen people, was an angelic being, and in time, was clothed with flesh, for the fulfillment of God's plan. The elect people know their origin in God. They have the incorruptible seed of God in them. There is no universality of choice, and therefore there is no universality of salvation. Salvation is only for the elect; whoever is saved, is saved forever. Election, choice, redemption and salvation are manifested by the Grace of God, and not by the works of men.
2. PREDESTINATION AND GOD'S DESIGN God predestines for salvation, those whom, He has chosen. God's sovereignty. The false free will. The existence of the two seeds. The predestined, are called in the Bible, “a hundred sheep”, “as many as the sand of the sea”, “144 thousand”, “wheat”, “vessels of honor”, “the exclusive property of God”. The assurance of salvation. The guarantee of salvation.
3. THE REDEMPTION INITIATED IN THE INCARNATION OF CHRIST, CONFIRMED IN HIS DEATH, AND CROWNED IN THE RESURRECTION A perfect covenant was sealed with the blood of the Lamb. The gratuity of salvation. Freedom from the power of the devil. The Christian is rescued from the dark empire for the Kingdom of God.
4. THE DOGMA OF ORIGINAL SIN ACCORDING TO PAULINE THEOLOGY Sin and its consequences: "the total incapacity of man", "there is no one who seeks, nor who understands", "the man without Christ is dead in sins and crimes".
5. THE SECOND GRACE, IS THE CHRISTIAN'S VICTORIOUS LIFE, RESULTING FROM THE KNOWLEDGE OF HIS SPIRITUAL POSITION, GIVEN BY GOD Spiritual growth. Spiritual authority. Firmness of confession. Illuminated eyes. Experiencing a reality, according to the risen Christ - “we know no one according to the flesh”. Awareness of sitting in heavenly places with Christ Jesus. Pauline foundations as the basis of spiritual life.
6. THE DEITY OF CHRIST Historical Christ vs. the Risen Christ. Christ died for the rescue of His elect, chosen and predestined.
7. THE DIVINE TRUTH ENDED In the Word of God. In the revelation that is not the privilege of the ecclesiastical magisterium, as tradition says, but of all the people of God. In the communion and priestly, prophetic and real ministry of Jesus Christ in every Christian.
8. THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, AS A SEAL OF CONFESSION AND PROFESSION OF FAITH, INDEPENDENT FROM SPEAKING IN LANGUAGES One Lord, one faith, one baptism. The mark of salvation is given in the confession of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, that is, in the baptism of the Holy Spirit. No one can say that Jesus is the Lord, except by the Spirit.
9. THE MINISTRY OF ANGELS Their existence. Their hierarchy. Their action and his ministry, in themselves in favor of those who inherit salvation.
10. CHURCH Visible sign of salvation. Mystical body of Christ. Christ sign. Sign of Unity, opening perspectives for man reborn from the Spirit, by the prophetic message and seal of the Holy Spirit. Evangelism, based on the new covenant, whose promises are better and higher. A Church, without spots and without wrinkles - the bride of Jesus Christ.
11. PAUL'S FOURTEEN EPISTLES, AS A BIBLE FILTER Because of Paul's knowledge of the Old Testament. For its doctrine of coherence. By the revelation of the Grace of God that he, Paul, received from the mouth of the Just. For the unity they, epistles, establish among themselves. For the specific message of God's Grace to the Gentiles.
12. TITHING: PRESENT IN THE OLD AND NEW TESTAMENT Abraham, the first tither, spontaneously giving his tithing to Melchizedek, king of Salem, before the law. Tithing, is the Lord's. It is an attitude of recognition and gratitude to God. It is a gesture of detachment from material goods, before God. It is a sowing in the prepared land of the work of Jesus Christ. It is a way of rejecting poverty and misery, evils that offend and humiliate man. Tithing is honored by God. Tithing is prior to the law. Tithing is a sacred measure.
13. THE CHRISTIAN'S CONFESSION, AS EXERCISE OF HIS PRIESTHOOD What he believes in, he says: Confession of mouth. Confession, as a source of life and not death.
14. THE BOOKS AND "THE BOOK" OF LIFE Those inscribed in the book of life, are saved. Their names will never be erased. The books of rewards and awards; the book of the living.
15. THE LORD'S SUPPER Established prior to the law, among Melchizedek and Abraham. Revealed to the Apostle Paul, by the Risen Christ. Only a physical sign of the New Covenant.
